 As an ASF Board member I gathered some friends and we started a new fundraising guild that benefits ASF called "The Friends of Dorothy"  and you'd be surprised who is pitching in to help us raise money! Our first fundraiser was a Drag Queen Tupperware party on July 12th 2007 and boy did we make things happen.This backyard party raised $16,855.00 and received rave reviews!  Committee member Mark Eskander donated matching funds of $5000.00 to the event.  Enjoying the party were my good friends Gayle Soderling and her husband Ron (not pictured),as well as ASF Founder, Al Roberts.  With over 125 people in attendance, the money we raised will go to benefit men, women and children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Orange County.  The party played well into the evening and Mark Eskander, inspired Jeannie Moriarty to match funds of $5000.00 for the event. ASF Board Member Marilyn Brewer and I were overwhelmed by the generosity.   Loren Blackwood and Steve Bond are just two of my hard working committee members.
