Funny man Jason Dudey will be on hand. You might recognize Jason from Comedy Central or the Logo Ch, or his many club appearances in and around LA. He truly is a "Friend of Dorothy"!  Also appearing will be Dorothy Spirus. She's performed several original shows at The Second City in LA and her hilarious one-woman show, "Children of a Lesser Goddess"in Hollywood, Long Beach & OC.  Chairing the event is none other than DEE W. IEYE! It's going to be a night of belly laughs and surprises for sure! One in every 5 new HIV/AIDS cases in Orange County is a man and women 50 years old and over. The Friends of Dorothy Guild for AIDS Services Foundation Orange County was created to heighten awareness and funding of much needed ASF programs and to reach out to a broader aspect of our community. • Provide access to basic needs for women and children. • Help kids deal with HIV in the family. • Transport clients to and from medical appointments. • Help provide housing • Food Bank services. • Mental health counseling • Help a family stay together – fed, clothed and housed.  Who Are the Friends of Dorothy? The Friends of Dorothy Guild is a support group founded in 2007 by Chairman Barbara Venezia and is dedicated to raising money to fund the much needed programs of AIDS Services Foundation Orange County. Why Dorothy? In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy clicked her heels three times and made things happen! That's what members of the Friends of Dorothy do for ASF, they make things happen!  What is ASF? In 1985, a small, dedicated group of community volunteers founded AIDS Services Foundation Orange County (ASF) to support their friends and loved ones who were dying of AIDS and desperately in need of help. Since then, ASF has served almost 75% of the individuals affected by HIV and AIDS in Orange County. In order to address the changing realities of the epidemic, ASF has evolved from a grassroots organization with a staff of two into the most comprehensive and experienced nonprofit HIV/AIDS service agency in the County with over 60 professional staff providing services to 1,500 men, women and children annually.
